HP, Microsoft, Cisco, Telenor and Imatis are to build a state of the art European competence centre to show and demonstrate the best technology hospital solutions. It is unique that these leading companies come together to cooperate and create the best technology for health.

The vision for the centre is;
"Deliver state of the art technology to secure meaningful information anytime, anywhere within a hospital environment, and thus improve patient care and technology efficiency".
HCoE will coordinate global visits, activities and programs, as well as arranging and coordinating health care business events and skill upgrading. It will also manage virtual expertise teams across countries, partnerships/alliances, customers and governments.
In the centre Imatis has, among other things, installed a Bedside Terminal, our unified communication platform, the portal with the Cisco IP telephone – and this is similar to what is installed at St. Olav’s Hospital, and to what is being installed at the new AHUS hospital outside Oslo.
