IMATIS Activity Monitoring - a public R&D project for optimal process management and interaction
IMATIS Activity Monitoring
IMATIS Activity Monitoring is a monitoring system to be developed in a three year time period as an R&D project with Ringerike Sykehus HF. The project is supported by Innovation Norway as a Public Research and Development Project (OFU).
Deliver information
The system shall deliver surveyable information to professionals, leaders in all levels, owner and society, in order to show to what extent the clinical pathways and main processes are under control.
Information for directing and managing
The information shall, based on a joint data foundation, be able to separate between detailed direction information to clinicians and surveyable information for the management.
- The treatment teams will be informed about what state the improvement work is in, and what should be further improved.
- The process team will be informed about the improvement work, and coordination-information from critical checkpoints in the main process.
- The management team will receive adjustment inromation from the improvement work and the main process, as well as information from the mandatory indicators set by the owner.
A module in the IMATIS family, with the well known IMATIS portal
IMATIS Activity Monitoring is a module in the IMATIS family. Data collected by the IMATIS platform (IMATIS Interconnect) will be shown in a portal.
IMATIS Activity Monitoring is develøped to be a tool for monitoring clinical pathways and patient flows.
The solution will collect data through integrations towards the hospitals' existing information systems. The data will be analyzed by using methods for statistical process control (SPC) and will be presented as information in several levels; for clinicians, process managers, managers and executives.
