CEO Morten Andresen
Morten is the CEO of Imatis and serves on its Board of Directors. Morten's family members control about 60 % of the shares in Imatis. The owners have a long time commitment for Imatis to be a worldwide game changing company in healthcare.
Before being named CEO in May 2015, Morten was Imatis Vice President for software development and innovations. He established the company's worldwide sales and operations, with subsidiaries in Denmark and Australia. He also headed the marketing division and played a key role in the strategic development of standardised software products for health sector, in close co-operation with the long time Imatis fellow, Marius Kvitnes.
Morten has always been an entrepreneur, starting his first company after finish his Master degree at the Technical University in Trondheim in 1990.
In 2014 he was one of three nominated to the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Norway. Morten is a board member of several other companies, both in Norway and Internationally.
CFO Bjørn Erik Martinsen
Bjørn Erik Martinsen joined Imatis as Chief Financial Officer in 2015. Prior to joining Imatis, he spent nearly 21 years at EY (former Ernst & Young) as an executive director within the Assurance and Advisory business.
Bjørn Erik graduated from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) with a master’s degree in Business Administration and a master of science degree in Accounting and Auditing. He is also qualified as a certified public accountant.
Senior Vice President Sales - Hospital sales Bjørn Olav Nygård
Bjorn Olav has considerable experience in national and international healthcare operations. In 2015 he was appointed to lead the Imatis sales organization, focusing on the Norwegian market and supporting our international partners and subsidiaries. Bjørn Olav has been with Imatis since early 2007, and took over the position as VP of support and operations in January 2008. He has extensive experience from various support functions and markets in the telecom industry before he started in Imatis.
Senior Vice President Sales - Municiplaity and home care sales Geir Olav Aas
Geir Olav has substantial experience of twenty years in sales and sales management, marketing, product management, strategic planning and business development in ICT, Retail and Consumer Products business, in Norway, the Nordics and EMEA. Geir Olav has 10 years experience from different management groups, including leadership group roles in development and implementation projects. His sales and marketing experience includes work with public sector organizations, including the health sector, and private sector. Geir Olav has a proven track record of strong results, both as a manager and in various sales roles. He has a broad network of customers, relations and partners in Norway and Sweden.
Senior Vice President Support and Professional Services Vibeke Rystad
Vibeke has extensive experience from various technical and administrative positions in Norwegian and international companies.
Senior Vice President Software and Innovation Espen Semb
Espen is an Imatis veteran and leads a large organization of amazing people in the area of software product development and innovation. Espen played a major role in co-operation with the Imatis founder in creating the establishment of the Imatis product line in home care and municipality area (nursing homes and other municipal institutions). Espen has been in Imatis since finishing his bachelor's degree, starting as a software developer.
Fellow Marius Kvitnes
Marius has been a co-partner and a fellow at Imatis since Cardiac was initially founded in Trondheim, back in the early nineties. He has been involved in several roles, including research and development, solutions architect, customer partnership, sales and implementation of large oil and gas installations and healthcare solutions. In addition, he has been one of the key strategic architects behind the IMATIS platform and application suite. Marius has the last years been involved as a strategic architect behind the new greenfield hospital project in Østfold (New Østfold Hospital), and earlier St. Olav's and Akershus University Hospital.
Australia Office Dan Credazzi
Dan has a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from the USA. He is a director of Tilleke & Gibbins International – one of Asia’s leading law firms, and is an active community volunteer in Australia. Since 2009 Dan has been the President of the Haemophilia Foundation of NSW and since 2011 the Vice President of the Haemophilia Foundation of Australia. Dan is also a Justice of the Peace in New South Wales. Dan is the General Manager for Imatis in Australia and New Zealand
Denmark Office Frank Petersen
Frank is Director and senior business executive of Imatis Denmark, located in the Copenhagen area. Frank has worked with executive responsibility since the mid-nineties in various industries in Scandinavia, including the startup of three companies. He has had assignments in business development of product areas in industrial areas such as IT (software, hardware, consulting, support and service), healthcare (hospitals and municipal care), medico (healhtcare IT, lifescience), outsourcing (facility management, ASP solutions) and communications (media, webservice, CMS).

Imatis Board of Directors
Imatis's Board of Directors oversees the Chief Executive Officer and other senior management in the competent and ethical operation of Imatis on a day-to-day basis and assures that the long-term interests of shareholders are being served. To satisfy the Board's duties, directors are expected to take a proactive, focused approach to their positions, and set standards to ensure that Imatis is committed to business success through the maintenance of high standards of responsibility and ethics.
The governance structure is designed to foster principled actions, effective decision-making and appropriate monitoring of both compliance and performance.
Jan Erik Langangen (Chairman)
Jan Erik has an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen, and a cand.jur. form the University of Oslo. He was employed in Statoil from 1975 to 1983, where he finished his company career as Director of finance and administration staff. In 1985 he became Chief Executive of Storebrand, a job he held until 1992. In the same period (1987 to 1992) he was Chairman of Statoil. From 1998 to 2001 Langangen headed the Norwegian Values Commission. Today, he is responsible for business development and law at Nordic American Tanker Shipping Limited (registered on NYSE), and he is a partner in the Langangen & Helset Law firm.
Morten founded CARDIAC AS in 1991, based on projects with the oil and gas company Statoil and the metallurgical company Elkem Technology. Later, CARDIAC was split into two companies, where Imatis AS now is his focus working with software in the healthcare. Morten has been involved as board member, management and entrepreneur in several successful companies, including CARDIAC, Baze Technology, Nordic Energy Control, Posicom and Imatis. Morten has worked strategically, both for the company and many of our key customers. Morten has a long-time international experience working with customer and partners internationally for the last 15 years.
